In sectors such as deep processing of fruits and vegetables, fresh produce wholesale, and the assembly of fresh fruit gift boxes, challenges—including inadequate cleaning, poor sorting accuracy, high labor costs, and low equipment adaptability—have long constrained enterprise profitability and capacity upgrades. Traditional manual cleaning and sorting methods are not only labor-intensive and prone to inconsistent standards but also frequently cause bruising or damage to the fruit; the resulting high labor costs and product wastage continuously erode profit margins. To address these industry pain points, we are proud to launch an integrated production line for cherry tomatoes featuring brush cleaning and roller-based size grading. This system combines automatic feeding, deep cleaning, and precision grading into a single, streamlined process suitable for a wide range of round and oval fruits and vegetables. It empowers small, medium, and large-scale processing plants, fresh produce cooperatives, and trading enterprises to reduce costs and boost efficiency.

The entire production line features an optimized design, seamlessly integrating three core modules—a hoist, a brush washer, and a roller-type size grader. With a compact and logical layout, it is easy to install and commission, capable of operating either independently or as a fully synchronized system. Adaptable to various site conditions and production requirements, the line enables fully automated processing; large-scale fruit handling can be managed with the assistance of just one or two operators, significantly reducing labor demands.

1. Intelligent Hoist: Smooth feeding that eliminates fruit damage.
Equipped with a specialized material hoist featuring an anti-slip, anti-impact conveying structure, the system utilizes variable frequency drive (VFD) technology to allow for adjustable feeding speeds. It prevents issues such as material accumulation and clumping while ensuring a steady feed rate synchronized with downstream processing, accommodating fresh fruit of various sizes. The enclosed feeding design effectively keeps out dust and impurities, ensuring product cleanliness at the source; it eliminates the inefficiencies and uneven feeding associated with manual loading, creating a seamless transition to the washing stage.

2. High-Pressure Brush Washer: Deep Cleaning that Preserves Fresh Fruit Quality
Serving as the core cleaning unit of the production line, this equipment combines high-pressure spraying with a flexible brush cleaning system to effectively remove surface impurities such as dust, soil, natural wax/bloom, pesticide residues, and plant debris. Inside the machine, multiple sets of flexible, wear-resistant brush rollers work in tandem with an omnidirectional high-pressure spray system; the fruit rolls and turns at a constant speed across the brushes, ensuring a thorough 360-degree clean without blind spots. The brushes feature optimized stiffness—balanced to be gentle yet effective—ensuring that delicate fruit skins are neither scratched nor crushed during the process. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, the machine is corrosion-resistant, waterproof, rust-proof, and easy to disassemble for cleaning, fully complying with food production hygiene standards. It supports wastewater recycling, promoting energy efficiency and environmental sustainability while reducing water costs.

3. Roller-Type Size Grader: Precision sorting with zero-error grading
This machine utilizes the industry-proven principle of grading via rollers with progressively widening gaps. A dual-screw drive mechanism synchronizes the movement of the roller assembly, creating gaps that gradually increase in size from the inlet to the outlet. As produce is smoothly conveyed along the rollers, it automatically drops through the corresponding gap onto a dedicated discharge conveyor based on its diameter, thereby completing the size-grading process. The grading intervals are manually adjustable, supporting configurations of 2 to 6 size categories with a grading accuracy of up to 99.6%; this effectively eliminates the high error rates and inconsistent standards associated with manual sorting. Furthermore, the equipment operates with minimal vibration and noise, ensuring gentle handling that keeps the fresh fruit damage rate below 0.5%—a performance level far superior to manual sorting standards.

One machine handles multiple fruit varieties, unlocking diverse processing scenarios.
This integrated processing line offers exceptional versatility, accommodating a wide range of fresh produce—specifically round and oval fruits—and covering the most common categories in the fresh produce market:
- Small fruits: cherry tomatoes, cherries, hawthorn berries, jujubes, etc.;
- Lingnan specialties: longans, lychees, wampee (huangpi), etc.;
- Elongated dried fruits: dates, red dates, green jujubes, etc.;
- General produce: lemons, citrus fruits, nectarines, olives, etc.
A single unit meets the washing and grading needs for various fruit types, eliminating the need to purchase multiple single-function machines. This significantly reduces equipment procurement and facility footprint costs, making it an ideal solution for fresh produce processing enterprises that handle a diverse range of products.
